January 25th, 2012: Plutonium Playhouse Announces 2nd Annual Sex Festival to happen in February!
Halifax, NS: Our inaugural Sex Festival was a huge success; selling out event after event, resulting in rave reviews, satisfied crowds and 3 Robert Merritt Award nominations. We’re excited to bring it back!
The time is fast approaching and Plutonium Playhouse will be moving out of our Hunter Street location at the end of April. Come help bid farewell to 2315 Hunter street during The Sex Festival!

“Pluto is the god of the underworld, and a nefarious lover, so it is fitting that Plutonium Playhouse celebrates sex this February, just in time for Valentines Day!
THE SEX FESTIVAL is a series of plays, readings, photos, music and videos that explore sex, sexuality, relationships, gender and the human body. You won’t find the XXX stuff you can watch on the internet. You’ll find work by artists that is by turns erotic, comedic, sadistic, horny, ecstatic, anguished, playful and orgasmic.
Above all, theatre celebrates words. In this case, a lot of dirty ones.” — Thom Fitzgerald, Artistic Director
